Students

The Volunteer Section IFT is a proud supporter of exceptional students.  Students are offered discounted registration rates for Volunteer Section IFT meetings.

Beyond supporting scholarships and students in higher learning institutions, section members often participate in programs that raise awareness of food science and the food science and technology industry.  Section members can be found in K-12 classrooms throughout the area working with younger students getting them excited about food science.

Student members of IFT are encouraged to become involved in the section.  The networking offered through section events can be important in career development.
